The team behind the six prototypes that have painstakingly been conceptualized and slowly developed over the two and a half decades have been the late UC Berkeley professor Antony K. Oppenheim, Florida based mechanic, the late Smokey Yunic, mechanical engineer Jim Duncalf, aircraft engineer Mark Beierle of Earth Star Aircraft Company and the latest team member engineer Pham Duy Tung who resides in Vietnam.
The first 2 prototypes were built by Jim Duncalf in California. The next three were built by Mark Beierle and his staff with design assistance by Jim Duncalf. The last material test prototype was built in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam by Phom Duy Tung and Jim Duncalf.
The current design has also had significant design input from professor Huynh Thanh Cong, Lecturer, Internal Combustion Engine, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
